Overview
We’re seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) for our Enfield Orthopedic Associate’s office who has a passion for patient care in the area of outpatient orthopedics. This is a great opportunity to work with a diverse population that offers a wonderful team atmosphere with experienced clinicians and some of the best orthopedic physicians, nurses and physician assistants in New England!
This is an orthopedic based office treating a variety of orthopedic cases including sports medicine, hand therapy, dry needling, musculoskeletal disorders, osteoporosis, work injury rehab and more!

Job Summary
Under the supervision of the Physical Therapist (PT), the Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) aids in performing structured assessments, and assists in determining, revising and implementing treatment plan in order to identify, prevent, remediate and rehabilitate acute or prolonged physical dysfunction or pain, with emphasis on physical dysfunction. The Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) utilizes treatment skills and tools in order to measure and assess patient needs, therapeutic application of physical and chemical agents, exercise and other procedures to maximize the patient's functional independence.

Qualifications
- Graduate of Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) Program from an accredited American Physical Therapy Association school, Associate’s degree required.
- CT active or temporary license required.
