The Regulatory Compliance Lead is responsible for all aspects of state compliance including state licensing, state financial reporting requirements and service contract filing; state business registrations including all associated reporting; service contract maintenance including updates, changes, implementation and tracking; state regulatory legislative monitoring.
Responsibilities for the Regulatory Compliance Lead:
Creating and reviewing regulatory compliance documentation.
Coordinating the creation, review and implementation of policies and procedures resulting from new laws and regulations.
Applying and interpreting audit and compliance requirements for all state regulatory agencies.
Working closely with legal counsel to set goals and accomplish objectives.
Designing and coordinating the preparation and ongoing review of policies, procedures, training materials and other communication tools to ensure departments meet compliance requirements.
Establishing self-audit and compliance monitoring programs.
Prepares, reviews, maintains and files state filings in accordance with state regulatory requirements.
Monitors and reports progress of state filings.
Communicate and coordinate with other departments to implement changes, updates and improvements.
Manages each state file to ensure that renewal and follow-up filings are done in a timely manner for all group companies.
Implements and maintains a tracking system for required filings for all related companies and reports status to management.
Support and work with the legal department on regulations associated with complaints.
Maintain entity information, business registrations, state reporting associated with entity registrations and registered agent relationship.
Maintain contract forms database, coordinates revision of contract forms and assists with new product development, including making required form filings and responding to objections or requests for clarification.
Responsibilities for the Regulatory Compliance Lead:
Bachelor's degree in a related field or suitable experience.
5+ years of compliance experience
Ability to manage various multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
Technical, analytical focus and work within established standards, policies, and procedures.
Provide expertise-based problem solving.
5+ years of Service Contract experience preferred.
Must be able to work at either St. Peters, MO or Lakewood, CO location. Position is fully in-office.
