Semi-Tractor Trailer Driver Job Description:
- Drive locally in Southeastern Michigan area
- Perform proper maintenance checks to ensure that all mechanical, safety and emergency equipment is in proper working order
- Must be able to fill out and keep accurate log / records
- Be able to operate a forklift to load and unload shipment on truck
- Deliver products in a timely and courteous manner
- Obtain signatures to confirm order completion
- Inspect and maintain cleanliness of vehicle
- Follow all truck safety procedures
- Verify the quantity of material
- Provide great customer service to our customers
- Secure products in truck for proper transport
- Adhere to Department of Transportation regulations
- Follow verbal and written instructions
- Cross training as needed
Semi-Tractor Trailer Driver Requirements:
- Must possess a current CDL Class A license, DOT physical long form and medical card
- Have a minimum of five years’ experience (preferred) in operating a semi-tractor trailer
- Be a dependable and dedicated individual who takes pride in safety and exhibits good driving skills at all times and possess a good driving record

- Wage determined based on experience
- Base Wage will be reviewed after 90 Days of employment
