As an Engineering Technician III, you will be part of a team overseeing and maintaining reliability of Metropolitan's, engineering and design technology systems. The successful candidate will have experience and familiarity in maintaining, administering, and configuring business applications for Bentley ProjectWise database, Computer-Aided Design (CAD) applications, Building Information Modeling (BIM) applications, Microsoft Office 365 SharePoint, and Bluebeam. You will support Capital Improvement Project teams with the production of design drawings in the areas of drawing production, 3D modeling, CAD file management, CAD workflow and processes, and resolving issues in these areas.
Additionally, you will support the management of the CAD workspace: cells; levels; menus; tools; add-on apps and all other related duties.

EMPLOYMENT STANDARDS MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Education and Experience: High school diploma or high school equivalency certificate (HSEC), and two years of accredited college or university in engineering and six years of relevant experience, two years of which must have been at the Engineering Technician II level.
Relevant Experience is defined as: a combination of six years or more experience in Architectural, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) industry supporting the operations and deployments of CAD systems; BIM (Building Information Modeling) applications; digital design deliverables; CAD file management; infrastructure data; 3D modeling designs; and/or CAD workflows and processes.
Please note: Proof of completion of two years of accredited college or university in engineering will need to be provided prior to interviews.
CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, AND REGISTRATION REQUIREMENTS License(s): Valid California Class C Driver's License or equivalent (required at time of application) that allows you to drive during your employment.
