Quality Performance Improvement Analyst I Summary
The Quality / Performance Improvement (QPI) Analyst I is responsible for assisting the QPI Manager in collecting, collating, and analyzing data for KBBH’s Quality Performance Improvement Portfolio. Identification of root cause analysis, process automation and supporting clinicians in streamlining workflow. This position supports and assists the QPI Manager in the presentation and dissemination of information. The QPI Analyst may also assist with and/or facilitate performance improvement projects.

- Collaborates with multidisciplinary team on problem identification and resolution, cost containment issues, implementation of new services and systems/performance measures.
- Researches, develops/acquires, and implements improvement systems, methodologies, and tools to improve operations.
- Collaborates with Leaders to develop and revise processes and workflows. Provides on-site training and follow-up for staff.
- Facilitates performance improvement project teams to support implementation, monitoring and sustainability.
- Maintains efficient work process to provide timely review results to the organization. 6. Assists in managing process controls for the organization.
- Acts as content expert for performance improvement tools. Assists, coaches, and teaches processes while incorporating performance improvement tools and philosophies.
- Extract, interpret and analyze data in evaluation of root cause analysis and data driven decision making.
- Develops collaborative relationships with the Quality Team by assessing development and revision of key policies and processes to improve quality of care.
- Continued education and training on EHR best practices and usability.
- Up to .25 FTE Clinical Application Support as supplemental backup when needed.
Quality Performance Improvement Analyst I Education/Experience:To perform the job successfully the following education and/or experience is requested.
Required
- Bachelors Degree in business or health related field
- Ability to analyze, prepare and present information.
- Strong analytical capabilities.
Preferred
- Experience with Lean, Six Sigma or Root Cause Analysis processes
- 1–2-year experience working with projects and process improvement.
- Experience with data manipulation with SQL and Tableau
- Understanding of process and usability testing.
- 3+ years in the healthcare industry
- Education or experience of project management
- Knowledge of statistical techniques
- Advanced skill in MS Excel.
