Weekend shift is Friday, Saturday, Sunday 6-6 with paid lunches and a true up to 40 hours. Consolidated Precision Products (CPP) has an immediate need for an individual interested in a solid career in manufacturing. Purpose of this position is to perform the required duties relating to penetrant processing of product. Position reports to the Manufacturing Manager.
This is an entry level position with scheduled advancement and growth. Will train for FPI Level I Certification in preparation for FPI Level I Certification. Perform required duties relating to penetrant processing of product.
Major Responsibilities:
- Set up and calibrate equipment such as FPI processing line, PSM-5 panels and backlights.
- Conduct tests, interpret, evaluate and document data in accordance with codes, standards and other contractual documents.
- Identify and implement improvement opportunities through the use of tools such as Systematic Problem Solving, Process Management, Value Stream Mapping, etc.

Requirements:
- Education: High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
- Experience: Manufacturing experience preferred; 16 hours of documented formal training in Penetrant Inspection. 130 hours of on-the-job training.
- Certifications/Licenses: Penetrant Level 1 Certification
Other Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: LANGUAGE SKILLS - Ability to read, understand and comprehend documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, workstation documents and Internal Method Sheets (IMS). Ability to write routine reports. Ability to speak effectively and interact with other team members, engineers and leadership. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS - Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to calculate figures such as proportions, percentages, and volume. REASONING ABILITY - Ability to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
Salary: $21.45 + CPP-Industry, as a supplier of Aerospace and Defense products, is required to comply with U.S. government export control regulations. In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the required employment eligibility verification document form upon hire. Consolidated Precision Product adheres to all US Export Administration Regulations.
