Responsibilities:
- Appropriately apply data modeling techniques and constructs to optimize acquisition impact.
- Implement sensor CBP metadata strategies to enhance the efficiency of multi-sensor intelligence data products.
- Evaluate surveillance systems technologies and performance in operational environments, identifying and addressing technical and operational gaps.
- Assess advanced data analytic techniques, including AI and ML, for object identification, pattern recognition, and anomaly detection in surveillance sensor data.
- Maintain up-to-date technical knowledge of surveillance sensor processing capabilities and advancements.
- Communicate effectively on standard communications interfaces, protocols, and profiles specified in video cameras and ground-based radar systems.
- Demonstrate expertise in hardware and software sensor interface standards, architectures, techniques, and limitations to propose improvements in multi-sensor data analysis and fusion.
- Design solutions for C5ISR programs integrating sensors, software, communications, and other components.
- Perform system-level assessments for power, bandwidth, computing power, weight, and other design budgets.
- Derive, develop, verify, and assign system requirements to wired and wireless communications subsystems as part of integrated ATSC solutions.
- Write systems level requirements, plans, and conduct analysis (e.g., system plans, system modeling, FMEA, systems safety, requirements traceability).
- Liaise with partners and subcontractors to verify specifications, interface requirements, and produce Interface Control Documents (ICDs) between multiple subsystems.
- Provide technical analysis, utilize simulation and requirements management tools, perform system trade studies, and prototyping to assess system performance.
- Perform and support site surveys and generate related analysis to support system implementation.
- Act as a technical focal point with major OEMs and Government Customers.
- Conduct system-level test and troubleshooting (both in-house and in-field).
- Write and lead trade studies, use cases, white papers, etc.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field, with a minimum of 5 years of related experience; or Master’s degree with 3 years of related experience; or PhD with relevant experience.
- Experience with surveillance systems, including radar and/or video-based sensor systems.
- Proficiency in communicating standard communications interface, protocols, and profiles specified in video cameras and ground-based radar systems.
- Experience with programming languages such as C++, Python, MATLAB, and/or other modeling and analysis tools.
- Familiarity with basic lab test equipment for measuring hardware, RF, and video signals, as well as software-based messages.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office-based tools.
- Write Statements of Work (SOWs).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in applying real-time, advanced analytic techniques to surveillance video or sensor data.
- Experience providing program support in monitoring, assessing, coordinating, analyzing, and integrating component programs.
- Demonstrated ability to design solutions for C5ISR programs and perform system-level assessments.
- Experience leading multi-discipline teams and managing suppliers throughout the development lifecycle.
- Experience with pursuits, bids, proposals, etc., demonstrating the ability to lead a multi-discipline team throughout the development lifecycle.
