DescriptionPOSITION SUMMARY: Responsible for the performance improvement activities of Obstetrics within the CDPI Program.
RequirementsMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Graduate of an Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) accredited school of professional nursing and licensed in New Mexico. B. S. N. strongly preferred.
CERTIFICATION/LICENSES: Current New Mexico Nursing license or current Compact state license.
SKILLS: Able to read, write, and speak English fluently. Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills required. Competence with word processing and Excel is desirable. Familiarity with Powerpoint, performance improvement methods, and basic statistics also desirable.
EXPERIENCE: Minimum of 3 years of nursing experience, of which a minimum of one has been spent in an acute care setting relevant to the (service line). Experience with data collection and analysis preferred.

-Responsible to: Medical Director of Clinician Directed Performance Improvement with secondary reporting to the Chief Nursing Executive

General medical office environment and general hospital departments/nursing units, including critical care areas. Requires knowledge of safety standards to limit exposure to infectious disease. Daily contact with infectious diseases and bodily fluids.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Ability to move around hospital to all units/departments. Requires close work, good vision, fine motor dexterity.
