Johns Hopkins All Children s doctors, nurses, therapists and staff work in the Outpatient Care Center, bringing some of our most frequently needed pediatric medical services to a convenient location serving numerous surrounding communities.

Position Summary: The Sonographer III demonstrates advanced knowledge and skills in the management of diagnostic testing. Demonstrates focused critical thinking, integrates multi-system implications and provides anticipatory observation and management for predictable events. Demonstrates interdisciplinary collaboration and an outcome-oriented approach to care.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an approved diagnostic medical sonography program with a minimum of five years experience; additional clinical experience or credentials may be considered in lieu of some education.
- Specialty registry through ARDMS or CCI
- 5+ years of experience as a Sonographer. Perinatal Sonography experience is required.
- Dual registries preferred (ex. Fetal Echo, Pediatric Echocardiography, Nuchal Translucency, Advanced Cardiac Sonographer, Registered Cardiac Sonographer, or Adult Echo)
- Current BLS certification, AHA
- Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
Shift: Full-Time, Day Shift, 8:00 AM - 5:00PM. No weekend or holiday work.
This position is located 50% of the time in Bradenton, FL at the Manatee County Rural Health Clinic & 50% in North Port, FL at Johns Hopkins All Children's Outpatient Care Center. Both locations are approximately 50 miles apart from each other. Applicant must be able to travel between both sites.
