2nd shift-1:00p-9:30pm
Includes weekends and some holidays
Pay rate: $18.50-$23.00/hour
FIRST SIX MONTHS PERFORMANCE OBJECTIVES:
1. Batching Areas: The first three to four weeks will be spent becoming familiar with the manufacturing equipment in each batching areas. This is including but not limited to water supplies, holding tanks, filters, touch screens, pumps, cell pans, transfer hoses and overhead lines.
2. Manufacturing Process: Within the first six weeks become familiar with product flow from receiving, processing, batching, lab, production and warehouse.
3. Communication: Within the first three months, establish communication skills needed to understand the supporting areas and customers to this position.
4. Job Related Task: During the first six months it is required to fully understand rework and its effect on a batch. To fully understand rework the following knowledge must be obtained.
1. Reasons for HOLD & Rework Juice
2. General BOM Formulations
3. Quality of Rework
4. Percentages of Reworked material
5. Sanitation: During the first month, obtain knowledge of the time span required between the sanitization of the batching areas and production lines. During the first six months, must be able fully run batching lines and ready to learn detailed sanitation techniques to perform sanitation on batch tanks, filters and holding tanks.
6. Juice Loss: Within the first six months identify potential juice loss possibilities, identify possible juice saving techniques and be able to deliver product to holding tanks with no NCI.
Qualifications:
o Able to read, write and speak English.
o Excellent interpersonal skills, team player and an attitude to excel are a must.
o Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
o Ability to operate machinery.
o The associate must occasionally lift and/or move more than 50 pounds.
o Have an understanding of SQF, responsible for Food Safety /Food Quality and to notify a person with the authority to take action for any Food Safety or Food Quality issue.
