The Property Field Claims Adjuster investigates and maintains property claims within 1-2 hours of the Green Bay metro area. You must live in that territory. You will determine liability, secure information, review coverages, and settle claims. You will support the Claim Division's goal of ensuring customer service industry leadership and partner with the agency to deliver seamless claim service. As an adjuster, you will work on moderately complex claims up to $50,000. In this role, you will climb single story roofing, and will mostly handle water, wind, hail, and fire losses. You will report to a Property Field Claims Manager. A Company Fleet vehicle is provided.

$23.00 - $33.17

Primary Accountabilities
- Investigate origin and cause of claims by contacting the appropriate parties including insureds, claimants, agents, attorneys, contractors, experts, special investigation unit, other adjusters, and public personnel.
- Attend a new employee training program that includes claim processing in systems, policy and procedures, and company culture and its application to the Claim environment.
- Handle files with limited authority.
Specialized Knowledge & Skills Requirements
- Demonstrated experience providing customer-focused solutions or support.
- Basic understanding of claim handling process.
Licenses
- Valid driver's license required plus an acceptable driving record.
- Obtain state specific property casualty claims licensing, when required.
Travel Requirements
- Up to 50%.
- Catastrophe duty up to 75% as applicable.
Physical Requirements
- Ascend or descend ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, poles and the like. We may ask you for employees to visit areas that have a higher hazard than a typical office such as customer homes, body shops, or other locations.
- Move self in different positions to accomplish tasks in different environments including tight and confined spaces.
- Adjust or move objects up to 50 pounds in all directions.
Depending on qualifications, you can be considered at a higher level.
