Description:The Shipping/Receiving Associate is a key member of our motivated team that is responsible for processing and keepinga detailed record of all incoming and outgoing products. This position will collaborate with our inventory and purchasingstaff to monitor inventory levels, identify stock overages and shortages, and organize products ensuring that high-usageitems are most accessible. The ideal candidate can communicate effectively, problem solve, and ensure accuracy. Inaddition, this position will also be a support to the office, shop, and field, and conduct operations in a safe andprofessional manner.Requirements:
Duties/Responsibilities:
• Keeps all inventory organized
• Identifies products that have low stock and work with purchasing to determine quantities required
• Identifies any inconsistencies with part numbering and works with management to find solutions
• Determines defective or over stocked material and works with purchasing to initiate vendor returns
• Checks in returned inventory from job sites
• Communicates any discrepancies in quantities received with vendors and purchasing
• Processes received shipment information against BOLs, invoices, purchase orders, and other records
• Properly inspects and processes any damages, shortages, and/or overages in received shipments
• Properly processes and packages outgoing shipments, and returns
• Pulls and prepares parts requests
• Verifies and maintains part request forms
• Notifies shop locations and job sites of outgoing shipments and back orders
• Schedules incoming/outgoing freight & deliveries
• Maintains a clean, organized, and safe shop environment
OTHER EXPECTATIONS:
• Pick up/deliver parts when needed
• Take shipments to FedEx/UPS as needed
• Accuracy and attention to detail in daily activities
• Works well with others
