Job Title: Web Designer
Job Duties: Uline, Inc. seeks a Web Designer in Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin to design digital user interfaces or websites. Apply Master's-level thought and analysis to design, create, and maintain web pages, interfaces, and websites using authoring or scripting languages, content creation tools, management tools, and digital media. Be responsible for company's website's technical aspects including its performance and capacity. Build web components using Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Figma and HTML/CSS/JavaScript. Develop and test layouts, interfaces, functionality, and navigation menus to ensure compatibility and usability across browsers or devices. Analyze web use metrics and optimize websites for marketability and search engine ranking. Maximize the usability of digital devices, websites, and software with a focus on aesthetics and design. Maintain and provide ongoing design of website, promotions, ad banners, and seasonal content specials. Create custom images and specialized code development for the web. Edit and provide on-going site maintenance. Coordinate photo concepts and perform design work involving product photos. Select and utilize programming languages, design tools, or applications. Evaluate code to ensure that it is properly structured, meets industry standards, and is compatible with browsers and devices. Incorporate technical considerations into web site design plans, including budgets, equipment, performance requirements, and legal issues including accessibility and privacy. Salary: $79,950 per year - $79,950 per year.
Minimum Requirements: Master's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Human Computer Interaction, Web Design, or a related field plus one year of designing digital user interfaces and websites experience or related occupation. Must have at least one year of experience in each of the following: 1. Designing, creating, and maintaining web pages and sites using authoring or scripting languages, content creation tools, management tools, and digital media; 2. Building web components using Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Figma and HTML/CSS/JavaScript; 3. Developing and testing layouts, interfaces, functionality, and navigation menus to ensure compatibility and usability across browsers or devices; 4. Analyzing web use metrics and optimizing websites for marketability and search engine ranking; and 5. Coordinating photo concepts and performing design work involving product photos.
