Job Description Summary Configuration Management/CCB Leader for Commercial Programs
PLM Configuration Control Board Leader/Chairperson (CCB) develops and maintains certification/ qualification/validation of a baseline product structure and manages changes in compliance with regulatory requirements while meeting business, production, field, and technical objectives. The discipline is a blend of technical, program and configuration management elements.
CCB Chairperson acts as a product steward for product lines and owns change-in-design process from ideation and creation through certification/qualification /validation and change issuance. CCB is integral part of PCB board providing direction on change class and introduction point, considering sequence of changes, as well as business needs. CCB accelerates the execution of configuration changes ensuring they are compliant with GE internal policies, engineering standards and regulatory agencies requirements.
CCB Chairperson is the champion of the change process, applying LEAN to drive and institutionalize continuous improvements. CCB Chairperson provides training and guidance for change document execution for all organizations and is the final word expert on all configuration control questions within the business.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering
- Minimum of 5 years' Design Engineering, Project Management or Configuration Management experience
- Ability to execute projects working with distributed, global team
- Strong communication, presentation & interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently, under pressure and changing requirements
Desired Characteristics
- Prior design change experience
- Design or Systems integration experience
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
- Knowledge of turbofan engine architecture and/or manufacturing process
- Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.
- Demonstrated ability to lead programs / projects.
- Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs.
- Established project management skills.
