PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION
Performs advanced technical/engineering problem solving in support of nuclear plant operations. Responsible for technical decisions. Possesses excellent knowledge in functional discipline and its practical application and has detailed knowledge of applicable industry codes and regulations.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Provides in-depth technical expertise to develop, manage and implement engineering activities and programs.
- Provide technical expertise and consultation through direct involvement to identify and resolve equipment and system problems.
- Provides initial or complete task management of engineering issues.
- Perform engineering and technical tasks as assigned by supervision applying general engineering principles
- Accountable for the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of work ensuring proper configuration management and assuring that standard design criteria, practices, procedures and codes are used in preparation of plans and specifications.
- Perform independent research, reviews, studies and analyses in support of technical projects and programs.
- Recommends equipment, new concepts and techniques to improve performance, simplify construction, reduce costs, correct design or material flaws, or comply with changes in codes or regulations.
This Analyst role can be filled at the Mid, Senior or Senior Staff level. Please see minimum qualifications list below for each level
Expected salary range:
Mid-level: $84,600 - $122,000
Senior Level: $127,800- $142,000
Senior Staff Level: $135,000 - $150,000
Ranges are per year based on experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes bonus and 401K.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS for Engineering Analyst/E02
- 4-yr tech degree and 2+ yrs of nuclear or related industry experience OR
- 2-yr tech degree and 3+ yrs of nuclear or related industry experience OR
- High School Diploma and a min of 5 years applicable nuclear experience
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS for Senior/Engineering Analyst/E03
- 4-yr tech degree and 5 + yrs of nuclear or related industry experience
- 2-yr tech degree and 7+ yrs of nuclear or related industry experience
- High School Diploma and a min of 8 years nuclear experience
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS for Senior Staff Engineering Analyst/E04
- 4-yr tech degree and 10 + yrs of nuclear or related industry experience
- 2-yr tech degree and 12+ yrs of nuclear or related industry experience
- High School Diploma and a min of 14 years nuclear experience
