Get to know the role
- Job Title: Database and Process Tool Analyst
- Job Summary: This role will support the continued development of the internal and proprietary Pokémon Trading Card Game database and process tool, shared integrations with that tool, and data projects to be included in the database. This role is similar to a product owner, scrum master, and release manager.

What you’ll do
- Create, manage, and test/QC Jira tickets. Manage user feature requests. Create bug reports and prioritize responses. Review ticket backlog and participate in sprint planning. Additional scrum master duties as needed.
- Interface with other teams to fix bugs and data issues. Follow up with teams on their feature requests and bug reports.
- Write release notes for each new release of database and process tool. Update user manual and other documentation as needed.
- Write quarterly functionality and release reports for stakeholders.
- Product co-owner and subject matter expert for the database and process tool. Learn and utilize knowledge of PTCG development process in supporting development of database and process tool.
- User provisioning duties for database and process tool.
- Conduct monthly and as needed training classes for new users. Host discovery sessions with teams on feature requests or complex issues. Ensure UX and front-end feature requests are developed appropriately.
- Assist other teams with data issues in database and process tool and advise on process improvements.
- Roadmap planning for database and process tool.
- Work with third party vendors and partner companies on ongoing projects and day-to-day development cycle.
- Support long-term integration projects for database and process tool.
- Own, manage, and complete long-term Pokémon Trading Card Game data projects for inclusion in database.
- Keep up to date with any upcoming changes to the Pokémon Trading Card Game to support their inclusion in the database and process tool.
What you’ll bring
- Five (5) to seven (7) years of relevant professional experience or a demonstrated equivalent level of expertise.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or a demonstrated equivalent level of applicable experience.
- Experience with Agile/iterative development methodologies and tools (Jira, Jira Service Desk).
- Knowledge of Pokémon brand and familiarity with the Pokémon Trading Card Game required. Knowledge of other trading card games a plus.
- Experience managing linked data. Experience ingesting data into databases.
- Ability to work independently, handle multiple assignments, balance priorities and meet deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Great analytical and problem-solving skills and the ability to improve functionality or best practices.
- Ability to plan with long-term goals in mind.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Experience supporting development of a proprietary tool at a large or mid-size company preferred.
- Database integration experience preferred.
- Experience working with stakeholders in different time zones preferred.

- Base salary range: For this role, new hires generally start between $102,000 - 120,650. The full range is $102,000 - $152,000. This range is applicable for the labor market where the role is intended to be hired. Final base salary is directly related to each candidates' qualifications and professional experience uniquely.
