This is a Remote North Carolina position, candidate must reside in North Carolina. Occasional in-person engagement in our Durham, NC office is required.
Position Purpose: Oversee all reporting and data requirements as defined by the business unit requirements. Serve as primary analytical contact for supporting strategic and operational goals and objectives. Oversee operations for health reporting and encounters.
- Oversee development and processing of various reports, including encounter error corrections, provider network reports, and other reports as required by the State.
- Develop reports to assure data integrity among multiple data sources and works with accountable departments to resolve issues.
- Ensure data integrity and compliance with reporting requirements for various departments, customers, vendors, and/or government agencies.
- Oversee Data Analytics and Reporting department staff and activities including maintenance of data records, reporting and audit data records.
- Manage state data reconciliation process including verifying correct payments and eligibility from the state, and all supplemental files processed between the health plan and the state.
- Create an analytical environment that enhances medical cost decisions to maximize utilization of these tools. Support the business process and systems to ensure integrity of the health economics/data warehouse data.
- Identify process deficiencies and recommend system and process improvements.
- Monitor business unit and/or client performance on various metrics to provide reports and recommendations on emerging trends for appropriate action plans to senior management.
Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience. 8+ years of finance, accounting or data analysis experience. Previous management experience including responsibilities for hiring, training, assigning work and managing performance of staff.
Pay Range: $129,400.00 - $239,300.00 per year
