The Boeing Company has an exciting opportunity available. The F-22 Raptor team is seeking an independent worker and self-starter to join the F-22 Lab Team in Berkeley, MO as an Electrical Engineering Technician. We are looking for someone with experience in an aviation career field or testing in a lab environment. Someone that can work and support a diverse team of engineers & technicians providing mission data profiles in support of ground and flight test.
The Boeing test group consists of the F-22 Agile Integration Lab (AIL), 757 Flying Test Bed (FTB), & Boeing Software Development Lab (BSDL) located in St. Louis, MO. The AIL/FTB has the unique capability to fly prototype software and hardware as well as participate in F-22 Flight Test exercises. As a highly productive, talented, self-motivated, and creative member of the team, you will work with multiple engineering and support groups in a dynamic team environment, on both ongoing operational efforts and exciting future projects.
Position Responsibilities:
Create and manage Mission Data files for Lab test, ensuring mission Data Transfer Cartridge (DTC) is properly set up and loaded for mission completion/success
Work with software builds team to transfer and load aircraft Operational Flight Program (OFP) files from the Integrated Maintenance Information System (IMIS) to lab environment using the Portable Maintenance Aid (PMA).
Coordinate with others to maintain and update software on Mission Planning computers to ensure Joint Special Access Program (SAP) Implementation Guide (JSIG) Compliance
Support Lab Operations team as backup for Communications Security (COMSEC) roles and responsibilities.
Our teams are currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including; Associate and Experienced Electrical Engineering Technicians.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skill/Experience):
Associates’ degree or higher
Experience within a system and/or an electronic lab test environment
Ability to obtain F-22 Special Access Program (SAP) clearance
Ability to travel 25% of the time (approximately once a month)
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Active Secret Clearance
Experience with flight test Mission Data
Experience with avionics
Experience supporting experimental testing
CompTIA Security + certificate
Typical Education/Experience:
Associates Level 2
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Associate) and typically 1 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Bachelor, 3 years' related work experience, etc.).
Experienced Level 3:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Associate) and typically 3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Bachelor+1 years' related work experience, 5 years' related work experience, etc.).

Summary pay range (Level 2 Associate): $52,700-$71,300
Summary pay range (Level 3 Experienced): $63,750-$86,250
