Position Summary:
The Sales Analyst I assists in the planning and development of sales reports across RECARO Aircraft Seating Group; with a key focus on supporting external sales functions, and managing customer commercial documentation. The Sales Analyst I also prepares sales forecasts, collects and analyzes data in order to evaluate current sales goals. Assists in the development of sales quotas, forecasts, contract reviews, and preparing proposals for the sales team in response to RFPs. The ideal candidate should excel at extracting and synthesizing data across platforms and systems. This position will also be responsible for collaborating across the sales team and other functions, including but not limited to Engineering, Program Management, Order Management, Shipping and Accounting. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on limited supervision and individual judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Responsible for performing a variety of tasks.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Commercial and Customer Coordination:
- Single point of contact for program related Purchase Orders
- Interface with customers to clarify details and scope of work
- Works with multiple functional groups internally at RECARO collecting all inputs to process
- Follow-on/Quasi Follow-on shipsets
- Coordinates with Engineering/Certification/Finance teams to collate technical and commercial information with regard to local and transfer programs
Specifically works with:
- Engineering team to determine design, configuration control and weight adjustments as required
- Certification to determine impact to testing and regulatory requirements
- Order Management to determine impact to timeline, effectively date and overall program impact
- OEM and Airline Support to determine impact to follow-on shipsets
- Finance to determine recurring and non-recurring pricing for offer calculation
- Sales to determine overall impact to relationship with customer and final proposed assertion
Other Roles and Responsibilities will include:
- Administer and assign shipset commissions
- Ensure timely receipt of customer PO's and related invoicing
- Prepare pricing matrix and yearly escalation adjustments
- Manage SAP and QlikView reports to ensure shipset projection/ forecast are consistent with the order book
- Manage customer contracts and all other agreements related to customer interface
- Manage customer communication with regards to contractual obligations (such as outstanding payment notices, force majeure notifications, etc…)
- Prepare an overview of high level contractual terms for all active customers
- Assists Sales Directors with preparation of offers to customers, as well as contract reviews
- Collaborate with Accounting to maintain updated Non Recurring Costs (NRC) Summary Overview
- Responsible for coordination and scheduling of G1 internal program audits for all new programs assigned , including preparing G1 presentation for PSC/IPSC meetings; Support internal program audits for gate closures thru program completion and close-out phase.
- Minimum domestic and international travel will be required, must keep valid and current passport
- Initial assignment will likely involve two or more weeks of travel to Germany for training purposes
- Responsible for consistent follow up with customer to ensure milestone validity dates are met
- Support for all aspects of RECARO Contract Management System.
- Organizes, collaborates and plans all contract related tasks for RECARO Aircraft Seating Americas, Inc.
- Responsible for monthly status updates concerning open contract topics
- Responsible for supporting Sales department with managing and reporting departmental KPIs
- (Key Performance Indicators)
- Responsible for customer survey coordination for RAU customer base; and site focal for global collaboration and survey execution with customer survey team
- Ability to work effectively and professionally with diverse cultures; works well within a team setting
- Demonstrates the ability to think both analytically and creatively
Requirements:
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in technical, finance, accounting, or business fields; 2-5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Computer Skills:
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office products including Microsoft Project.
