This position involves servicing Schwab's international clients via chat and email. Specialists handle inbound and outbound emails and chats. Providing single-point-of-contact resolution to all client issues, taking ownership to ensure completion, and being able to have nuanced, high-level conversations about client needs including discussing international complexities like jurisdictional product availability, website navigation, investing fundamentals, and technical problem resolution.
You will be a dedicated, single-point resolution expert for all international clients seeking service support through our electronic communication channels. You will partner with your manager and fellow International Client Services colleagues to ensure world-class service to our clients while also balancing performance management expectations. Being efficient and effective in your client communications is a critical key to success!
What you have
Required minimum skills and qualifications are:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Experience with Schwab's processes and clients either as a contractor or associate
- Must be proficient at typing and have a high-level of experience quickly communicating via chat platforms
- Good level of knowledge in Schwab international client rules, jurisdictional governance, product limitations and nuances with servicing non-US customers
Preferred skills and quaflications are:
- Flexibility to shift your responsibilities at times to meet the business needs of servicing clients including assisting with inbound and outbound calls when needed
- Strong ability to perform immediate problem resolution while displaying client empathy
- Superior relationship-building capabilities
- Must have necessary sense of urgency, ability to multitask, and strong judgment and prioritization skills
- Mandarin, Cantonese, or Spanish proficiency preferred
- SIE or Series 7 preferred (or a desire to obtain as part of career growth)
In addition to the salary range, this role is eligible for bonus or incentive opportunities.
