Overview:Office position with patient contactMonday- Friday 8-4:30Janesville, WI or Rockford, ILGrowth opportunitesAccountable for performing highly independent utilization management activities that provide functions of administering our employee health programs and for providing clinical employee health services at Mercyhealth. This position works in direct collaboration with the Human Resource department as well as Occupational Medicine, Infection Prevention and Safety and Security. Assist with EH programs such as annual fit testing, tuberculosis (TB) screening, light duty, and workers compensation. May be required to work flexible hours and overtime during peak periods. Other duties as assigned.Responsibilities:Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesPromotes mission, vision and values of MercyhealthEnsures skills remain up-to-date with new developments, best practices and standards of care in the healthcare field.Ensures standard methods of care are used, utilizing evidence based practice and best practice standards.Reviews employee health work and administers vaccinations/injections, i.e. TB, Hep B, MMR, Flu, etc.; interprets vaccine requirements and administers blood pressures.Coordinates with other departments in Mercyhealth for missing and incomplete employee health compliance for all partners; which includes but not limited to immunization compliance, annual medical surveillances, and exposures to ensure the best services to Mercyhealth partners and help them meet compliance requirements.Administers the Mercyhealth fit testing program and ensures that all Mercyhealth partners have adequate protection and are fitted with an appropriate mask that meet Mercyhealth policies.Follows and directs employee health policies. Ability to work independently and handle difficult situations in a professional manner. Detail oriented and capable of exploring innovative solutions to solve complex problems and address issues through the use of a combination of delivered and custom-developed tools. Ability to us Microsoft Office software including email, Word and Excel. Ability to compile, code and categorize or verify information/data.
