Essential Function
Responsible for management of replenishment merchandise – the replenishment process and quantity allocation from forecast to PO for assigned businesses. Lead replenishment planners and train, develop and guide replenishment process. Allocate associate resources effectively in a fluid environment while also taking ownership of replenishment process for subset of the business. Partner with merchandise Director to manage open to buy, category distortions and allocate inventory dollars effectively to drive the business. Drive consistency in sku FC and replenishment through the Replenishment planners that align with AOR goals. Manage the preplanning process and asset allocation to identify and drive grow / maintain / decline businesses. This position is a hybrid role, reporting into the corporate office in Denton TX on Tuesdays and Wednesdays of each work week.

Primary Duties
Drive the inventory, sales and margin plan for assigned categories. Train and develop replenishment planners with consistent methodology which consists of flow of stock to achieve inventory turn and sales goals.
Work with Merchandise Directors on strategies to drive the business. Work strategically with supply chain, merch finance, marketing, pricing and store partners to translate vendor commitments, supply chain capacity, stores stock levels, and marketing into plans that achieve the sales, GM and unit turnover expectation.
Drive the JDA process – look for improvements/synergies and proper associate allocation to deliver results. Hands on replenishment of a category to drive consistency in thought and process. (Player-coach)
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
College degree (BA or BS)
5+ years experience in inventory and Open to Buy management, with experience in managing a budget for sales, margin and inventory.
Retail or consumer goods industry experience preferred
Must have JDA Demand/Fulfill experience
Competencies / Attributes
Excellent analytical skills and ability to plan, forecast, and exercise sound judgment.
Strong communication skills
Exceptional math ability

Working Conditions /Physical Requirements
The work is sedentary. Typically, the employee may sit comfortably to do the work. However, there may be some walking; standing; bending; carrying of light items such as papers, files, books, small parts; driving an automobile, etc. No special physical demands are required to perform the work.
The work environment involves everyday risks or discomforts which require normal safety precautions typical of such places as offices, meeting and training rooms, libraries, and residences or commercial vehicles, e.g., use of safe work practices with office equipment, avoidance of trips and falls, observance of fire regulations and traffic signals, etc. The work area is adequately lighted, heated, and ventilated.
