Job Summary
Responsible for working with Communications leadership and other business leaders to ideate and write clear and powerful communications content (including press releases, byline articles, scripts, whitepapers) designed to build and maintain a favorable public image for Comcast Advertising, which includes FreeWheel and Effectv. Plans, directs and develops communications designed to demonstrate thought leadership and keep the industry informed of Company's programs, accomplishments, or point of view. Manages a significant flow of work and meets appropriate deadlines while representing the organization and collaborating across teams. Contributes to strategy development and ensures communications content is aligned with Comcast Advertising's operational plans and business objectives. Exceptional writing skills and knowledge of ad tech industry are a must.
Job Description
Core Responsibilities
Ideates, strategizes and w rites press releases on company announcements including new / enhanced products and services, partnerships, research reports, new hires, and more , and manages the review process and pipeline of such announcements.
Also w rites byline articles, scripts, whitepapers, and other content to be pitched to press representatives and others who may be interested in learning about or publicizing company's activities or message.
Turns c omplex ad technology pro duct offerings into simple stor ies ; shows a deep understanding of the media industry and how it works
Contributes content for publicity efforts such as executive speeches, interviews, speaking engagements and question/answer sessions.
Builds strong relationships across internal teams (Marketing, Product, Product Marketing, Social, Sales, Sales Marketing) to both understand and communicate key company messaging points
Proactively pitches ideas for thought leadership content to team leadership, based on research and internal discussion .
Delegates activities/projects among less experienced assistants to ensure timely results; monitors progress and provides guidance as appropriate .
Serves as liaison with external communications and marketing teams to ensure project goals are met and timetable/budget parameters are kept.
Focuses direction and efforts on understanding what audience is to be reached and with what message.
Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance. Regular, consistent and punctual attendance.

Exceptional writing skills and experience creating comparable communications content is a requirement (writing samples will be requested )
Experience in communications in the ad tech industry is a requirement.

Salary:
Primary Location Pay Range: $130,175.52 - $195,263.29
