Up to $20,000 Sign-On bonus for experienced Registered Nurse / RN
Position Summary
The RN provides high quality, safe, cost effective, total nursing care to all patients utilizing the nursing process. The RN assumes responsibility for overall coordination and integration of patient care based on need of the patient and family members. The RN directs care according to established standards of safety, risk management, Infection control, with the goal being to discharge the patient with an optimum level of care provided. The RN utilizes evidence-based practice in accordance with professional standards and adheres to the Florida State Nurse Practice Act. The RN reviews orders/test results and documents care delivered accurately and timely in electronic health record.
Position Requirements/Qualifications: (including required licensure/certifications, education and job knowledge / experience)
EDUCATION
Minimum: Graduate of an RN Program
Preferred: BSN
EXPERIENCE
Preferred: (1) year experience in Medical/Surgical or Labor and Delivery
REQUIRED CERTIFICATION/LICENSURE/REGISTRATION:
Experienced L&D RN
- RN Licensed in the State of Florida
- American Heart Association BLS
- American Heart Association ACLS within 30 days of start
- NRP
- Fetal Heart Monitoring Certification within 30 days of start date.
Novice to L&D:
- RN Licensed in the State of Florida
- American Heart Association BLS
- Fetal Heart Monitoring certification within 9 months (basic within 30 days)
- ACLS within 90 days of start
- NRP within 90 days of start
