Warehouse Operator/Cycle Counter
2nd or 3rd Shift Forklift Cold or Dry Dock Operator
Summary
Complete assignments related to the receiving and shipping of products. Safely operate material handling equipment. Follow all standard operating procedures and safety rules.
Responsibilities:
- Completes assignments in a manner that meets company expectations for safety, quality, and efficiency. Meets engineered labor standards for production.
- Completes assignments through utilization of Red Prairie WMS and LMS systems in accurate and timely manner utilizing bar codes, radio frequency (RF) and or desktop computer equipment.
- Operates material handling equipment (stand-up forklifts; slip attachments) in a manner that abides by all safety rules and assures that it is used correctly and in accordance with the manufacturer s guidelines of operation. Conducts and documents the required vehicle inspection; reports any vehicle not found to be in working order; maintains vehicle in a clean and neat condition; places vehicle on charge when needed.
- Completes the required unloading and or loading of orders as well as any re-palletizing of product that may be necessary.
- Completes the required inspection and documentation of product as required per Quality Inspection Process (QIP) and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP).
- Stores and retrieves the required materials, packaging, and food products from all locations designated by WMS.
- Picks and palletizes individual cases when necessary, weighing in a range from 1 lbs. to 75 lbs.
- Completes daily cycle count assignments and any other inventory control system related activity. ***
- Verify follow-up counts/audits, verify inventory locations, assist with pallet recoveries, and make recommendations when necessary, regarding missing or slow-moving inventory. ***
- Works in both ambient and refrigerated and freezer (as low as -10 degrees F) temperature environments. *** Able to work evenings and weekends when necessary.
- Completes basic mathematical calculations to accurately receive & ship product, and/or cycle counting. ***
- Reads instructions displayed in either RF equipment or additional documents.
- Input information into operating systems through use of keypad or handwritten onto documents. Completes all reports and documentation needed for the tracking of hour s utilization (LMS); internal damage (WMS); trailer inspection reports (DQMP); pallet tallies for proper billing (Load Cover Sheet).
- Completes general cleaning, sweeping, and removal of debris from work area. Ensures the warehouse area is kept clean and always organized in accordance with the principles of DQMP and GMP and all other health and safety guidelines.
- Completes any other duties as required and assigned by manager/supervisor.

Education and Experience Requirement
Minimum:
- High School degree or equivalent
- At least 1 year of recent forklift experience
Preferred:
- Forklift certification (slip sheet experience preferred)
- Experience in a bar code environment
- Stand up/ reach/ cherry picker experience preferred
- Open to working Saturdays 9am-5pm
Language and Technical Skills Requirement
- Ability to understand and follow instructions necessary for completion of principle duties and responsibilities.
