Job Summary - The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) p rovides for the delivery of professional nursing care under the supervision of the provider.
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments.
- Greet patients and prepare them for physical examinations.
- Obtain height/weight, blood pressure and medical history information.
- Observe, record and report patient's condition and reaction to drugs and treatments to the provider.
- Instruct patient and family regarding medications and treatment instructions.
- Educate patient and family about diagnostic process, medications, nutrition and maintenance of health and wellness.
Education and/or Experience - Graduate from a CCNE or NLN accredited nursing program is strongly preferred. Graduate from an approved nursing program is acceptable.
- One year of clinical practice preferred.
Licensure/Certification/Registration - Licensed as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the State of SD and/or meeting the requirements of multi-state licensure required.
Work Schedule - Monday - Friday; 72 hours every 2 weeks
- 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
- Occasional weekend (One Saturday morning shift every 8-12 weeks)
- Evening and Saturday Urgent Care rotation
