Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled IT Technical Helpdesk Specialist with expertise in IT Service Management (ITSM), a strong Microsoft background, and experience in network issue resolution , debugging , crash assessment , and network testing . The ideal candidate will provide technical support, troubleshoot issues, and ensure the smooth operation of IT systems for our users in Austin.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in an IT helpdesk or technical support role.
- Strong expertise in IT Service Management (ITSM) principles and tools.
- Proficiency in Microsoft operating systems and applications.
- Solid understanding of network technologies and protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator, ITIL Foundation).
- Experience with network diagnostic tools and techniques.
- Familiarity with remote support tools and techniques.
- Knowledge of security best practices and data protection.
