Job DescriptionThe Production Engineer role is tasked with benchmarking, developing, implementing and continuously improving operational standards and business processes and systems to enable consistent high velocity output in a low volume high product mix manufacturing environment. This would include identifying and evaluating alternatives or contingency plans to allow us to be an agile organization. The Captain of Ship (COS) and Remote Operation Center (ROC) Group Leaders (GLs) are key customers for the Production Engineer - effective partnerships are critical here.
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- This role also acts as an integrator / liaison between Production and other departments across the factory, such as Planning, Automation, Process Engineering, Integration and Industrial Engineering (IE) to develop key operational strategies, standards, business processes and systems to manage factory Work in Progress (WIP) flow including development and steady-state operations.
- The Production Engineer will be the site owner for certain operational business systems/capabilities - to be balanced across the team.
- This role also represents F11X Production in VF (Virtual Factory) improvement teams and forums to represent our business needs and to help implement Best Known Methods (BKMs) and new capabilities.

- Master's degree in Technical, Engineering, Operations Management or related field.
