Position Overview:
The Senior Endpoint Engineer is responsible for expertly designing, implementing, and maintaining all Endpoint Systems within the environment. This encompasses managing Endpoint hardware, software configurations across workstations, mobile devices, and printers. They adeptly troubleshoot a diverse range of complex issues to safeguard Endpoint security and data integrity, adhering to industry best practices. Additionally, the Senior Endpoint Engineer offers tier three support to fellow engineers and support team members.

The position will be based in our corporate headquarters, near Madison, WI, but it will offer a hybrid work arrangement allowing the flexibility to work a few days a week from home.
What You'll Do: - Evaluate existing systems for effectiveness, efficiency, and scalability, while implementing strategies in coordination with vendors and engineering staff to improve and leverage system performance, capacity planning, manageability, and system modeling
- Conduct performance tuning, problem resolution, security administration, capacity planning, policy administration, change management, disaster recovery, and system analysis of endpoint systems and services
- Automate operational processes as needed, with accuracy and in compliance with our security requirements
- Translate business requirements into code and documentation while managing the life cycle and communication for assigned projects.
- Comprehensively assess the organization's endpoint hardware requirements, conduct thorough analysis, and collaborate with vendors to facilitate the procurement and purchase of suitable devices
- Design, maintain lifecycle, and administer MDM/MAM Platforms (Soti MobiControl, VMware Workspace One, JAMF)
- Plan, prioritize, and manage projects; prioritize tasks to ensure that the team's overall resources are used effectively and that project deadlines are met
- Take ownership of the asset management platform, leveraging Service Now, ensuring its effective operation, configuration, and maintenance to manage and track endpoint assets throughout their lifecycle. This includes overseeing a sset data accuracy, conducting regular audits, implementing process improvements, and collaborating with stakeholders to optimize asset management workflows and reporting
- Maintain platform ownership of Microsoft and Secure print environment across the organization
- Mentor and train Support and Engineering Staff
- Administer Endpoint components of an M365 multi-tenant environment
- Act as tier three escalation for support, including On-Call responsibilities
- Actively engage in Change Advisory Board Meetings, utilizing in-depth knowledge of ITIL framework and processes
- Learn new technologies and influence future technology stack and change
- Configure and design hardware and software systems to meet business unit's needs; creates related documentation such as troubleshooting guides and knowledgebase articles
- Oversee the design, development and implementation of desktop level software and hardware solutions, systems, and products
- Participates in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals

What We're Looking For: - Bachelor's Degree in Information Technologies, Computer Science, or related field. - Equivalent work experience will be considered
- 7+ years experience
- Microsoft Suite - Including but not limited to Teams, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Experience working at a high level with Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager, MDM/MAM platforms, Operating System Image Manipulation, and Modern Driver Management required
- Expert Level ability troubleshooting Windows Endpoint Issues required
- Experience with orchestration tools, Group/Azure Policy, MDM/MAM platforms, and operating in a Retail environment a plus.
- Scripting in PowerShell
- Able to operate effectively with minimal supervision
- Experience as a Google Workspace Administrator
- Preferred certifications:
- M365
- Google Workspace Admin
- CompTIA A+
