We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Board Certified Behavior Analyst who is interested in providing school based Applied Behavior Analysis therapy. We offer a small, collaborative, and caring community of staff who support one another to provide excellent services for each client we serve. The Behavior Specialist is responsible for assisting with the development of the special curricular trajectory and goal management for each student they are assigned, as well as overseeing and training staff to the students’ goal procedures while reporting to the Site Director. This is an at-will position in an at-will state. Benefits, PTO, and contracts may be negotiated and therefore signed separately. This is an FLSA exempt position.

Education Requirements
BCBA or BCaBA
Currently a Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA) or LIcensed Assistant Behavior Analyst (LABA) by the Department of Health of WA or currently eligible for licensure. Applicants who hold a BCBA or BCBA-D credential are eligible for a LBA/LABA in Washington State.

2+ Years experience as a BCBA/BCaBA
Experience providing ABA therapy with children
Demonstrated supervisory experience
Effective history of working with individuals with severe behavior
Physical requirements
Must be able to assume and maintain a variety of postures (kneeling, squatting, crawling, sitting, standing) for extended periods of time
Must be able to sit, stand, climb, walk, balance, lift 50 pounds, push/pull 50 pounds, carry 50 lbs, grasp, reach, handle, stoop/crouch, crawl, talk, hear, taste, and smell regularly

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. This job requires the ability to run and walk for a minimum of 5 minutes, escort a student for a minimum of 5 minutes, and be able to climb a six foot fence. This position must be able to respond quickly to active and aggressive children, adolescents, and young adults ages 5 to 22. Physical response may include evasion, and/or performing approved escorts, holds, and restraints to maintain student and staff safety. These activities may require the ability to run, use of arms in deflecting, restraining, or holding for periods of time with a moderate to high level of force, use of torso and hips to balance or hold, and ability to kneel and rise, or lie on the ground and rise swiftly and safely

Noise Conditions: exposed to moderate and occasional loud noise from students, toys, and normal school equipment
Heat/Cold: may be subject to heat, cold, wet, and/or humid weather conditions, and occasionally five or more minutes in extreme heat, cold, or wet weather conditions
Injury exposure: position requires physical activity and occasionally physical management of a student therefore may present conditions for injury
Environmental Exposures: potential exposure to secretions, saliva, blood, urine, and feces; thereby, potentially at risk for exposure to bloodborne pathogens.
Minimum requirements:
- Master's (Required)
- BCBA (Required)
- Experience providing ABA therapy with children
- Ability to interact with colleagues, providers, and families in a collegial and professional manner.
- Reliable transportation, current valid driver's license, car insurance, and working cell phone
- CPR/BLS (required within 30 days of hire)
- Food Handlers (required within 30 days of hire)
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and physically respond to challenging behavior including pursuit of an eloping student and use of physical management procedures
- Ability to pass a background check and driving record check
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience as BCBA

Starting Salary: $60,000.00- $90,000 per year (DOE)
