Our client, a construction firm that support various client projects in a variety of industrial/manufacturing markets is currently seeking to hire a Construction Manager . The Construction Manager (Superintendent) is primarily responsible is to execute projects from start to finish; the ability to complete project on-time, within budget and exceed customer expectations. The Field Superintendent manages all trades and daily activities related to the project, ensure materials are delivered and installed, keep site clean and safe.
Education/Experience:
- 10+ years of experience in the Construction Management field.
- High school diploma or GED
Skills / Specialized Knowledge / Abilities
- Knowledge of industrial construction, means and methods, scheduling and cost control procedures, general contract, general conditions, subcontract documents, drawings and specifications.
- Proven written and verbal communication abilities; proficiency with computer applications, including Microsoft Office suite and Procore.
- Ability to read, understand and interpret contract documents, drawings, specifications, scopes of work and project schedule.
- Demonstrated leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Must possess strong technical, communication and computer skills, including email and document management/organization
Travel: Typically 90% - 100% of the time. Travel is typical to clients site for the duration of a project or program.
