Location: Onsite 5-days a week in Houston, Texas

Job Description:
PCS Software, Inc. is currently hiring an Inside Sales Director based on-site in Houston, Texas, to manage a team of 5+ Account Executives. The Director of Inside Sales oversees the activities of sales representatives with an assigned territory or portfolio of existing customers that primarily conduct remote sales calls. Coordinates closely with marketing and field sales to gather insights and understand customers' unique needs, market conditions, and competitors. Develops sales strategies and supporting activities. Provides appropriate product information to meet the needs of individual customers, support upselling, and achieve sales targets. Trains and coaches staff in selling and relationship-building skills needed to grow and maintain sales pipelines. This position will report to the Chief Revenue Officer for PCS Software, Inc.
Responsibilities:
The Director of Inside Sales will be responsible for providing input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility as well as give input into developing the annual budget. Candidates should have a 5+ years of managerial experience and be capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations that may require coordination with other departments.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets
- Manage and motivate a team of inside sales representatives
- Monitor sales metrics and provide weekly/monthly/quarterly/annual reports to senior management
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure customer satisfaction and retention
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities
- Stay up-to-date with trucking industry trends and best practices. Candidate should have a solid background and understanding of the trucking industry specifically, and the transportation and logistics lifecycle, trends, and economic indicators, as well as overall knowledge of transportation management software solutins in general.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field
- Proven experience as an Inside Sales Director with 5+ years of experience in a similar role
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to analyze sales data and develop effective strategies
- Familiarity with Salesforce CRM software and sales automation tools such as SalesNavigator and Hubspot
- Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets over the last 5 years
