What You'll Do
The Product Manager of Construction Equipment Technology will drive the development and management of technology solutions for heavy construction machinery. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of construction machinery OEM and/or dealer operations, as well as expertise in machine control / machine guidance (MC/MG; 2D/3D) technologies, connectivity, and autonomous solutions used in construction machinery applications. Note: this is not an IT or software development position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Working with global R&D, develop and execute the product roadmap for technology solutions in heavy construction machinery, aligned with business objectives and North America customer needs.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify market trends, customer requirements, and opportunities for innovation pertaining to the North American market.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, sales, marketing, and customer support, to define product requirements, specifications, and go-to-market strategies.
- Drive the product development process from concept to launch, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality solutions that meet or exceed customer expectations.
- Establish and maintain relationships with construction machinery OEMs, dealers, and technology partners to drive product integration and adoption.
- Provide training, support, and technical expertise to sales teams, dealers, and customers on product features, benefits, and applications.
- Analyze product performance, customer feedback, and market data to continuously optimize product offerings and drive business growth.
- Stay abreast of industry developments, emerging technologies, and national / state / local regulatory requirements related to construction machinery and technology solutions through engagement with industry associations.

Requirements:
What You'll need to be Successful
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or a related field.
- Minimum 7 to 10 years of experience in product management, marketing, or business development, with a track record of commercializing technology solutions.
- Proven track record of success in driving product development, commercialization, and revenue growth in a B2B environment.
- Experience working with construction machinery OEMs, dealers, and technology partners is required.
- Strong understanding of machine control/machine guidance (MC/MG), connected job site, and autonomous technologies used in construction machinery applications.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Strategic thinker with analytical mindset, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
