We have an exciting opportunity for a Sr Principal Systems Engineer - Deputy Systems Engineering Integration & Test Lead on one of our premier classified programs. As the Sr Principal Systems Engineer - Deputy Systems Engineering Integration & Test Lead, you will assist the Systems Engineering Integration & Test Lead providing technical direction and design/requirement clarification to software agile development teams, integration, and test personnel. You will also help with performing technical analyses of what the system needs to do through defining system capabilities from a customer specification, guiding system interface negotiation with external partners, and helping the test team execute an automated software test and demonstration program. This role will interact directly with internal leadership team as well as lead each Systems Engineering Integration & Test discipline team and with the Program office and external partners via external meetings while assisting the Systems Engineering Integration & Test Lead.
What You Will Do
- Provide engineering support and technical direction for the implementation of the program’s test program to include test processes, baseline definition, regular and special demos, and support to Operational Test
- Participating in prime/customer meetings including technical exchange and working group meetings.
- Guide definition of Requirements and Acceptance Criteria, Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), architecture definition and Algorithm descriptions
- Interface with program leadership to report status and issues
- Support internal program activities such as the Risk & Opportunity Board, ERB / CCB and impact assessments
Qualifications You Must Have
- Typically requires a Bachelor's Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum 10+ years of prior relevant experience
- Active Top Secret / SCI Security Clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
- Experience with Electromagnetic Warfare (EW) Domain, Ground Systems development, or Command & Control (C2) Systems or Operations
- Experience with the software development life cycle using Agile concepts and experience in one or more of the following system engineering areas: architecture development, operations concept development, functional analysis, interface definition, or integration, verification & validation
Qualifications We Prefer
- Experience in systems engineering process development and deployment
- Experience working in an Agile or DevOps development environment, being part of a highly integrated team working closely with Software, Integration and Verification teams and using DOORS for requirements management
- Experience with Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) using DOORS, Enterprise Architect andJIRA or similar tools
- Experience in Ground Systems Operations and Maintenance support
- Ability to establish and maintain good working relationship with all levels of the organization and with the prime and customer and demonstrated written and oral communication skills, including presentation skills
- Leadership (Program and/or Technical Engineering) experience with Electromagnetic Warfare (EW) Domain, Ground Systems development, or Command & Control (C2) Systems or Operations

The salary range for this role is 118,000 USD - 246,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
