Role:
Our Facilities Specialist is the primary organizational employee responsible for the upkeep, appearance and functionality of all Credit Union facilities.
What you will be doing:
- Responsible for ensuring the optimal function of all Soarion facilities, equipment, and overall operation to meet business needs.
- Coordinates and manages third-party vendors responsible for repairs and maintenance of Credit Union facilities.
- Inspects third-party vendors to ensure conformance with established specifications and to comply with the Credit Union and/or government regulations.
- Coordinates janitorial services, facility/equipment repairs and maintenance, grounds maintenance, office moves, and vendor relations.
- Ensures that furniture, facilities and equipment meets Credit Union standards.
- Negotiates with vendors, and recommends approval of facilities contractor/vendor invoices.
- Assists with the planning, coordination and implementation of facility projects and facility implementation.
- Provides backup for department employees, to include but not limited to, mail processing; delivering, inventory order processing, pickup and distribution of Credit Union documentation to the Financial Centers or appropriate business locations.
- Conducts building maintenance and safety checks; supplies and inventory; and moves and/or disassembles office equipment.
- Utilizes discretion and independent judgment in interpreting policies and procedures to resolve daily operational problems.
- Handles the complaints or concerns of members, as necessary.
- Assists with the development of budget for the Branches and Corporate equipment, operational issues and maintenance contracts.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
What you'll bring along:- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Must have 5+ years of facilities maintenance experience.
- Must have experience in carpentry, electric, plumbing, and general office equipment repair.
- Must have a valid driving license and have a clear driving record.
- Must have the ability to lift, transfer or move up to 50 lbs. of equipment, supplies, or other materials.
- Must be available to work overtime and Saturdays, as needed.
- Must be bondable and have a good consumer credit report.
