We are seeking a Registered Nurse to:
- Join a team of REMARKABLE nurses that use compassion and teamwork to care for their inspiring patients in the Oncology Clinics.
- Connect and form therapeutic relationships with patients.
- Care for patients receiving chemotherapy, supportive care medications for cancer and hematologic conditions, blood transfusions, bone marrow transplants, and CAR-T cell therapy in an outpatient setting.
- Use targeted assessment skills to assess patients during visits and via phone triage and online patient portal.
- Participate in ongoing oncology educational and growth opportunities.

Minimum Requirements: - Facility Requirement: Traveler must have a permanent address outside a 50-mile radius of Madison.
- Experience:
- Oncology experience, Chemotherapy experience, Experience with Venous Access Devices (VADs) and IV skills required.
- Ambulatory triage experience required.
- Traveler must have completed two years of experience within the last 3 years.
- Traveler must have experience in an Academic Level 1 - Trauma center or similar size hospital.
- Successfully completed traveler assignment (13 weeks) preferred.
- Licensure and Certification:
- Traveler must have WI nursing license or compact license from their permanent address state.
- BLS must be certified through American Heart Association ONLY.
- Chemotherapy Certificate (ONS) Required.
- Reference: Needs 2 references from recent work environment/assignments (supervisor or manager only).
- Floating: Travelers are the first to float to floors working with children up to 1 year of age and/or based on the traveler's competency skills/experience. The Traveler may have shifts scheduled in multiple units, depending on the current staffing needs and/or different locations within the organization. During the traveler's assignment, if the primary unit no longer has a need, shifts will be re-assigned to another unit in order to complete the contract.

Shifts: 40 hrs/week, Day, 8 hr shifts, 7:00am-3:30pm, Monday - Friday.
