Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Evaluate and process warranty claims in eService following the guidelines set forth in the current STIHL Warranty Policy and Procedure Manual.
- Conducts in-house and on-site training and service seminars for dealers. Communicates new developments from STIHL Inc. or STIHL Germany with respect to service issues or part specifications.
- Resolve dealer and end-user technical issues, complaints and concerns by phone, email and other forms of communication. Develops communications pertaining to common service problems and distributes as needed.
- Maintain a liaison with STIHL Inc. Technical Services, Product Management and Parts departments to report and resolve technical and other related field issues as they arise.
- Attend Service Workshops and Seminars to stay up to date with current products and technologies.
Specifications
- Proficiency in MS Office and other web-based programs
- Public speaking, oral, and written communication skills
- OPE industry experience preferred
- Willingness to improve and learn new skills
