Manager -Tax & Affiliated Company Accounting
Role Summary:
This position reports to the Director of Statutory Accounting and Corporate and is responsible for the management and coordination of all tax filings in the US and Canada for ONE NA and all affiliated companies. The position will also be responsible for the daily management of accounting and supporting functions of affiliated entities with a presence in North America.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Remain current and knowledgeable on tax law and the implications of the changes relative to ONE and its affiliated companies.
- Evaluate the impact of tax laws in the US and Canada for all affiliated companies through technical analysis.
- Effectively communicate ONE's tax positions to senior management and external auditors.
- Assist and advise other affiliated business units on tax matters.
- Evaluate all tax filing requirements, coordinate with external service providers, and ensure timely filing of required tax returns and tax payments.
- Coordinate corporate tax provisions.
- Assess current finance department policies and procedures to ensure proper alignment with tax filing and other regulatory requirements.
- Provide daily accounting support and direction to affiliated companies with a presence in North America, including oversight of processes and procedures with accounting implications.
- Work with senior management to improve department operations by identifying existing process weaknesses, developing potential enhancements, and assisting in their implementation.
- Provide support on corporate infrastructure and general affairs projects in North America.
- Other duties as assigned.

Function-Specific Required Skills and Competencies: - Detailed understanding of financial systems; experience with SAP is a plus.
- Advanced user of MS Excel and proficient user of other MS Office applications
- Google suite proficiency preferred.
- Experience preparing and reviewing corporate income tax provisions; experience with multi-state corporate tax and indirect tax requirements preferred.
- Ability to travel as needed.
Required Minimum Years' Experience: - 5+ management and 5+ function specific
Required Minimum Education: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred
