Title: RN Manager, Critical Care Services

Responsibilities:
You will have the ability to create and maintain an environment that results in above-average satisfaction ratings from employees, patients, and physicians.
You will have the ability to delegate work responsibilities based on team member strengths, developmental needs, and workload.
You will have the ability to identify strengths and weaknesses of staff performance and implement training and development accordingly.
You will work with the Director on department staffing, hiring, evaluating, guiding, disciplining, and scheduling of staff.
You will have the ability to retain and recruit sufficient and qualified staff for effective operations.
You will manage compliance with budget and financial metrics.
You will support hospital-wide initiatives and work to foster positive relationships between the CSIC and all other departments.
What qualifications you will need?
Current RN licence in the State of Alaska
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or enrolled in a programme within 12 months.
American Red Cross or American Heart Association Basic Life Support Course (BLS or BCLS) and
A minimum of one year of CSIC, three years of direct nursing experience in ICU, and at least two years of open-heart recovery experience.
