Job Summary
The Respiratory Therapist Lead is responsible for performing, evaluating and coordinating diagnostic and therapeutic clinical procedures as defined in the Respiratory Care Services scope of clinical practice, performing work in accordance with physician orders in the neonatal, pediatric and adult patient populations in intermediate, intensive and emergency care areas. Serves as a resource to the employees in the Respiratory department and assists with orientation of new employees to the department.
Education and/or Experience
- At least 3 years of general respiratory therapist experience and at least 3 years of critical care experience required.
- Bachelor's degree from a four year college or university preferred
Certification, Licensure, Registration
- Licensed as a Respiratory Care Practitioner/Respiratory Therapist in the State of South Dakota is required.
- Registration with the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) is required.
Work Schedule
- Varied Shifts, every 3 rd weekend, every 3 rd holiday, occasional call; 72hrs/2wks

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.
