Job Description:The Workplace Investing (WI) Platform technology group within Fidelity Investments is tasked to develop and maintain technology solutions supporting Fidelity's Defined Contribution (DC) business. The platform serves plan sponsors in the configuration of their DC plans and operates in a mixed-technology environment (Java, Spring, Angular, Oracle) across multiple tiers (web server, app server, DB).
The RoleSeeking an experienced, skilled, and upbeat Senior Systems Analyst to be a member of a squad responsible for launching and growing business/technology capabilities focused on helping address the retirement savings coverage gap. You will support one to two multi-functional squads, engaging with all team members to reinforce and embed an agile approach and principles into the day-to-day work.
The Expertise and Skills You Bring 4+ years of experience in systems analysis with at least 2 years focused on building software solutions for technology initiatives
Experience with Agile development methodologies and strong knowledge of scrum tools – Jira, Jira Align experience
Experience in developing and authoring solution requirements and specifications for moderate to complex software systems
Experience with Structured Query Language (SQL) and Application Programming Interface (API) consumer tools such as Postman
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related technology subject area
Strong analytical, problem-solving skills and adapting to organizational changes
Ability to brainstorm with teams on solutions to address challenges and roadblocks
Effective communication and people-interaction skills
Efficiency in written and verbal communications and dedication to tailoring content to the appropriate audience (business vs. technology, associate vs. management, etc.)
Flexibility to adjust your work schedule to accommodate both U.S. and India-based teams and associates
The TeamThis team is looking for a Systems Analyst at its Smithfield, Rhode Island site to join its multidimensional, globally distributed team of IT professionals responsible for the development and maintenance of Fidelity’s WI plan administration platform. You will assist with requirement gathering and story writing.

Fidelity's working model blends the best of working offsite with maximizing time together in person to meet associate and business needs.
