Join Become a Interventional Radiology Technologist at Avera McKennan. Perform a variety of complex specialized tasks eminent in operating radiographic equipment to perform vascular and neuroradiology angiographic and interventional procedures.

Position Highlights:

- We offer a wide variety of neuro interventions from diagnostic cerebral angiograms to advanced endovascular interventions. Aneurysm embolization, stroke thrombectomy, and carotid stenting to name a few.
- Interdisciplinary team consists an Endovascular Surgery trained Vascular Neurologist, an Advanced Practice Provider, 13 Registered Nurses and 7 Registered Radiology/Cardiology Technologists.

Job Summary
- The Interventional Radiology Technologist is responsible for performing specialized procedures using sterile techniques and specialized equipment.
Education and/or Experience
- Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school, or hospital based Radiologic Technology Program required.
Certification/Licensure/Registrations
- ARRT (R) registered or RCIS is required within 60 days of completing an accredited program
Work Schedule
- Day Shifts: 7:00am-5:00pm; 80 hours every 2 weeks
- Weekends: every third on-call
- Holidays: on-call only
