Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Analyze and update operational plan for Branches: sales and purchase forecast of all finished goods: units, accessories, forestry, and specific merchandising items, rolling 24 months out. Communicate with Branch for consensus on monthly plans.
- Plan and submit finished goods purchase orders to STIHL Incorporated and outside Vendors.
- Creates annual planning projection package and consults branches in setting up the annual budget for sales and purchases.
- Resolve product availability issues to meet target service levels while monitoring inventory levels.
- Places orders for spare parts as required.
- Responds to questions regarding inventory availability, sales usage history, backorders and order statuses.
- All other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
About You
This individual will analyze, update and submit accurate strategic, annual and operational planning for all Finished Goods (FG) and Spare parts to enable product availability to customers at Branches. You will also monitor sales demand and inventory to meet target service levels.
Specifications
- Sales and purchase forecasting experience
- APICS and Lean Six Sigma
- Material requirements planning (MRP)
- 3-5 years planning experience with national and/or global experience
