At Raytheon, the foundation of everything we do is rooted in our values and a higher calling – to help our nation and allies defend freedoms and deter aggression. We bring the strength of more than 100 years of experience and renowned engineering expertise to meet the needs of today’s mission and stay ahead of tomorrow’s threat. Our team solves tough, meaningful problems that create a safer, more secure world.
The Processing, Guidance & Controls (PG&C) Center, within the Systems Engineering Directorate, consists of Signal Processing (SP), Guidance, Navigation and Control (GNC) and Modeling and Simulation disciplines. PG&C delivers key technologies to our effector programs portfolio. The Guidance, Navigation, and Control (GNC) teams provide aerodynamic and autopilot designs, optimized system motion designs, and state estimation to facilitate mission guidance goals. The Signal Processing (SP) teams extract and exploit signals from both active and passive sensors to be used for acquiring, detecting, tracking, and classifying objects of interest. The Modeling Simulation Analysis (MSA) teams are responsible for product-level simulations that help us design, develop, verify, and validate our products and capabilities. Our simulations model the components and subsystems that make up our designs, and the world our products interact with.
