Responsibilities:
Your Career at Community | Opportunity. Challenge. Growth.Responsible for the coordination of inpatient and outpatient care fro patients with a ventricular assist device (VAD). This coordination includes but is not limited to: patient, staff and community education, surgical coordination, clinic visits and record keeping.
Qualifications:
Education- Associate's Degree in Nursing required
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred
Experience- 3 years of experience in Cardiovascular Nursing, Cardiac Surgical Nursing, Cardiac Transplantation and/or care of patients with ventricular assist devices required
Licenses & Certification - RN - Current and valid Registered Nurse license to work within the state of California required
- BLS - Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers by American Heart Association (AHA) required
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certification required
- VAD - Ventricular Assist Device Certification of Training from Program Vendor required within 180 days of hire or transfer into position
