Position Summary:
Seeking an experienced Outside Sales Representative to help expand American Equipment, an overhead hoist and crane company who is a leader in in-house crane fabrication, parts, service, and material handling! Put your industry contacts to use in this exciting role. We are looking for a highly successful individual who is focused on acquiring new accounts.
Responsibilities of the outside sales representative include maintaining relationships with current client base, cross selling all products to existing clients, cold calling to new clients, setting appointments and acquiring new clients. For at least the first year or two this individual will spend the majority of their time selling service related inspections. As their knowledge grows related to
other products and services, additional selling responsibilities will be given to them.
Responsibilities:
- Prospect leads, acquire new accounts, and gather marketplace competitive information
- Become proficient in equipment selection based on many variables
- Manage customers, contacts, leads, and all sales activity utilizing CRM
- Develop and annual sales plan with defined objectives and key target accounts
- Provide presentations to existing, new, and prospective customers
- Work with resources in building cost estimates, proposals, and pricing strategies
- Prepare project details when handing off to operations
- Employ consultative selling approaches to customers
- Participate in job site meetings as needed
- Take on special projects as it relates to the sales and marketing aspects of the business

Schedule:
Monday to Friday- 8-5pm / Day Travel within the Territory
