Position Summary
The Regional Director of the Castle Rock Office utilizes strength-based practices to support their team in offering voluntary comprehensive, coordinated services to individuals and families experiencing instability. Responsibilities include providing direction, development, management, and leadership for the Castle Rock Office. Responsible for effective utilization of screening and reporting tools, quality of service delivery, and application of Quality Standards for Family Strengthening and Support across all programs. Work with the Vice President of Family Services to ensure the highest quality attainment of program goals and alignment with Catholic Charities' mission statement and strategic plan. Collaborate and coordinate with internal and external service partners in support of referrals to or from the Castle Rock Office.
Essential Duties
Client Operations
- Provide leadership for operations of all Castle Rock Office programs and the delivery of services. Evaluate and improve program components using evaluation tools and strategies focused on improving the client experience, family stability, and department outcomes.
- Supervise application of the Standards of Quality for Family Strengthening and Support in all programming. Provide for training and support necessary to effectively apply standards including utilization of applicable database(s) and screening tools to monitor client progress toward goals.
- Define screening processes that determine client eligibility and ensure completion of required intake/application documents. In collaboration with staff and other partners, we evaluate clients for placement in case management and/or referral to outside programs or services.
- Provide support and direction for case management, utilizing the family development pathways model and other research or evidence-based programs and interventions. Ensure assessments, client plans, and other evaluations are completed and utilized to promote attainment of client and program goals.
- Oversee programming including crisis triage, shelter and housing screening, emergency supports, i.e., food pantry and gas cards, to provide relief and realistic strategies to address immediate life challenges and access to basic needs.
- Establish and maintain effective safety and risk prevention procedures and training to ensure the health and safety of clients, staff, and visitors to program sites.
- Schedule and supervise outreach activities within the community in order to build awareness of programs, make programming more accessible to at risk individuals and families, and recruit volunteers.
Staff/Administrative Operations
- Collaborate with Vice President of Family Services and other senior managers to establish a program structure and policies which facilitates effective functioning of programs. Prepare staffing forecasts and budgets in coordination with supervisor and CFO to support the needs of the department.
- Execute and fulfill terms/contracts of grants and MOUs. Monitor funds execution through monthly financial reports.
- Conduct quality assurance checks to maintain accurate reports and database of client demographics and services provided for clients. Ensure use of required forms based on appropriate funding source to collect demographic and program information, for appropriate documentation of case plans, recommendations, contacts, assessments, engagement activities, etc.
- Lead and supervise team using delegation of appropriate duties and assurance that those duties are met fully, as appropriate.
- Provide for effective operation of the food pantry, donation management, and client utilization of services. Ensure accurate statistical reporting for items distributed and volunteer hours worked.
- Supervise employees in accordance with the employee manual and other governing directives. Maintain open, on-going communication with team members. Provide periodic performance reviews, establish developmental goals in tandem with employees, and support identified training needs.
- Develop and maintain program logic model including outcome and evaluation measures for program goals. Monitor and report on outcomes and other program assessments no less than quarterly.
- Collaborate with other teams/departments to support fund development, grant writing and reporting/contracting to generate the resources necessary to meet the needs of clients and families.
- Provide for effective means of maintaining records, files, and reports including, but not limited to, client-centered data (i.e. client plans and signed releases/confidentiality documents) and administrative data in accordance with agency policy.
- Attend community and network meetings to familiarize self and staff with community and human service organizations and develop and maintain mutually beneficial relationships with peers.
- Participate in conferences and training which promote skill development and enhance the effectiveness of programs including, but not limited to, Family Resource Center Association (FRCA) meetings and work groups.
- Participate in local, state, and national meetings and trainings, with the approval of supervisor, in order to implement new and ongoing rules and regulations and remain current on homelessness, poverty, and related issues.
- Coordinate hiring, onboarding, and off-boarding of staff within Castle Rock Office.

- Ability to set and achieve goals for program development and volunteer staffing.
- Knowledge of program development and evaluation experience.
- Maintain high level of confidentiality as it relates to information and documents related to the agency and program participants.
Work Environment
- A majority of the assigned duties are performed in an office environment.

Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in human services, social work, nonprofit management or related field.
- Three years of experience in a human service organization managing a variety of programs, employees, and volunteers, preferably with family populations and/or low-income and housing insecure individuals. A strong pro-life orientation is expected.
- Two years of prior experience in staff supervision required.
Compensation
- The salary range for this position is $55,000--$62,000. Salary is determined based on the applicant's incoming skills and experience, and the budget at time of hiring.
