Responsibilities:
As the Clinical Supervisor joining our Labor & Delivery department, you will work directly with the Unit Manager to oversee patient care from admission to discharge in the surgical and procedural areas. Assisting with C-sections, hysterectomies and D&Cs will be an important day-to-day responsibility. Your role will involve leadership in team building, communication, and development among colleagues such as RNs, LVNs, and other staff. This position offers the opportunity to be part of a dynamic and collaborative team that will challenge and inspire you daily. The 16-bed unit at Clovis Community serves patients with varying acuity levels, including high-risk pregnancy care.

Qualifications:
Education & Experience- High School Diploma, High School Equivalency (HSE) or Completion of a CHS Approved Individualized Education Plan (IEP) Certificate required
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred
- 2 years staff RN experience in area of specialty providing a full spectrum of care in a variety of situations required
- Experience coordinating clinical care and providing mentorship, education, and training to staff nurses. Experience as a Nurse Supervisor or a similar position in an acute care hospital preferred
Licenses and Certifications- RN - Current and valid Registered Nurse license to work within the state of California required
- BLS - Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers by American Heart Association (AHA) required
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certification required
- AORN Periop 101 Course - Must be completed within 30 days of hire
