Job Title: Warehouse Clerk
Reports to: Warehouse Coordinator
Classification: Non-Exempt
Summary:
Responsible for incoming/outgoing shipments and other warehouse activities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
To perform this job successfully, individual must be able to perform each of the primary duties satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required:
- Performs shipping and receiving functions.
- Unpacks and receives goods upon delivery and matches items with packing/shipping documentation to ensure accuracy.
- Maintains cleanliness and organization within the parts warehouse.
- Packs and arranges outgoing domestic and international shipments. Must be certified to ship chemicals.
- Generates timely, accurate paperwork for Accounting Department.
- Other duties, as assigned.
Additional Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assists with year-end physical inventory counts.
Qualifications / Education / Skills and Experience:
- Must of a high school diploma and a minimum of two (2) years warehouse experience.
- Must be computer literate with working knowledge of MS Office software.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Experienced in using UPS and FedEx online shipping software.
Physical Demands:
- While performing duties of this job, individual is regularly required to stand, sit, reach with hand and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl and lift/move up to 50 pounds. Visual acuity required. Individual is required to use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls frequently and be able to reach with hand and arms above shoulder level occasionally.
