Position Overview:
The HR Generalist will play a crucial role in supporting various HR functions, including employee relations, performance management, recruitment, compliance, and will provide administrative support as needed. This position requires a proactive individual with strong interpersonal skills, a thorough understanding of HR practices and labor legislation, and strong experience in Paylocity. This position is expected to be in the office full-time with flexibility for remote work upon management approval after a minimum of 6 months.

Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize Paylocity for HRIS functions, including payroll processing, benefits administration, and reporting.
- Manage the full recruitment cycle, including job postings, candidate screenings, interviewing, and onboarding.
- Work closely with the VP of Business Operations and the Operations Coordinator on performing new hire orientations and facilitating training and development programs.
- Working with LMT's Benefits Advisor, administer employee benefits programs and assist with benefits inquiries and issues.
- Handle employee relations issues, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and investigations.
- Maintain both physical and digital employee records and ensure compliance with HR policies and labor laws.
- Work directly with the Management team on maintaining and updating the Employee Handbook
- Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
- Support the performance management processes, including assisting managers in performance reviews and goal setting.
- Participate in HR projects and initiatives to enhance the employee experience.
- Assist with and execute processes to effect change and increase organizational effectiveness.
- Provide administrative support to various departments and assist with special projects as needed.
- Assist with planning and coordination of events and meetings.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in an HR Generalist role or similar position.
- In-depth knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Expertise in Paylocity.
- Experience with talent management and employee engagement initiatives.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and integrity.
- HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus.
Compensation details: 65000-75000 Yearly Salary
